Our projects
We give youth the chance to discuss, to share, to perform, and create.
Youth 12-18 need to experience the world around them with their peers. They need to build friendships, try new things in a safe space and discover their individual talents. We give them a place to do that.
discussion and presentations
Having friends to discuss and present to is wonderful.
Conversation is a meeting of minds with different memories and habits. When minds meet, they don’t just exchange facts: they transform them, reshape them, draw different implications from them, and engage in new trains of thought. Conversation doesn’t just reshuffle the cards: it creates new cards. -Theodore Zeldin
Simulations and hands on learning
Simulations allow students to experience different parts of history. The interactive nature allows them to learn from their own choices and discussing it afterwards helps to cement their thoughts.
Hands on learning, whether it is creating a video, building a bridge, or dissecting a goat is a way to encourage a love of learning and solidify concepts.
performances
Performing and learning Shakespeare is more then just fun. It gives students the skills to speak in front of others,
Group Trips
Everything from white water rafting to presenting their bills to our local senator in Boise, these trips allow for growth, development, and fun.
